60.

My old man turned 60 a few days ago. John, the brothers and I were set on jumping into the car and doing a quick surprise trip to Oregon for his birthday until an hour before we planned on leaving, we checked the weather report which said the weather through the pass was no bueno. So we kicked the curb and bagged the trip much to our dismay. My pops is one in a couple billion. He taught me how to play the guitar, play tennis, love hot tubs, play ping pong, love board games, Willie Nelson, and educated me in the delicate art of humor and sarcasm. There is an endless list of other things that man has done for me but I'll save that for another day. Anyway, I'm blessed beyond belief to have a dad who has always been fully committed to my mom, my family, his friends, the church, his work, loving life, and everything else good. For my wedding, my dad and I danced to Willie Nelson's My Hero's Have Always Been Cowboys, so for his birthday my brothers and I did a little rendition of the song and made sure the recording had terrible audio quality. Love you dad man.

  1. Nice job kids. I like John's small appearance in the background. Maybe next time he should sing too.
